I finally bought Andrew Bird's "Noble Beast" album. It is incredibly beautiful...and creative...and cool. Ok, for real, I can't get over it!
So I made udon soup for one tonight, but I'd like to think that "Noble Beast" joined me and made everything ok.
udon and andrew bird.. sounds like a perfect night.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time, I thought "Armchair Apocrypha" was impossible to beat.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is good to be wrong.
Try visiting one of his concerts when you have time. They're really the best. The amounts of instruments he actually plays are quite impressive...
ReplyDeleteNot sure what the "udon" soup is.. :)
Udon and Andrew Bird is to you, what ramen and Jamie Cullum is to me! I chilled with his new album yesterday, but now I'm gonna have to get "Noble Beast" too. Thanks Priscilla!
ReplyDeleteIs udon your comfort food too? I'm listening to Andrew Bird on YouTube now, thanks for the suggestion!
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome that you've started a blog. We'll get to find out what graces the mind of Priscilla! You're actually in my blog on 8/19/2009: let me know what you think.
Completely love your music,
Gabe

the song "Souverian" is my favorite from the album. And yes, his concerts are amazing. Went to a concert with him, Death Cab for Cutie, and Ra Ra Riot. best concert i've been to in awhile.
ReplyDeleteSo F___ING GOOD!
ReplyDeleteI'm making a sad attempt at violin just so i could
play like him.
Wouldn't have even known about A.B.'s exsistence had I not viewed your blog.
