Speeding through tunnels, catching glimpses of landscape between the hills, shades of green, a small river reflecting the dusk....sipping on cold, canned plum wine from the mini mart on the train platform after a long day of travel and promotion. Tiny lights twinkle and we have arrived in Hiroshima.
Love,

Thx for the pics. My Dad was there 6 years after the bomb. Use to have pics from the first cameraman on the scene.
ReplyDeleteHere's to better futures. I'm having a plum cider.
Sorry if this is off-topic, but I just had to comment about your When Marnie Was There Song (great one by the way, got me interested in the movie)... You mean to tell me you DIDN'T write it just for the movie? It's the most fitting song possible, no wonder they chose it.
ReplyDeleteHi!
DeleteIt's true!! I got so many chills reading the book and thinking how similar it was to this old, never been released, song of mine, and I just had to submit it. Pretty crazy...
Loving the pictures from Japan! What camera do you use, if you don't mind me asking?
ReplyDeleteI'm slightly embarrassed to say these are all iphone photos! >.< But I'm also taking photos with my Lomography DianaF+ camera that aren't posted here yet, and an old Minolta. :)
